Description:
This is a simple weekend cabin for a couple and their occasional guests. It was constructed utilizing capabilities of local craftsmanship on a limited budget. For minimum impact to the beautiful landscape that it is in, the footprint was kept very small. While only 80 m2 of the 5 hectare land is used for the cabin, rest of the site is reserved for agriculture. The structure is of load bearing aerated concrete blocks, which could easily be supplied and laid by non-qualified workers. Whole electrical energy need of the building is supplied by PV panels.
